Great place for a quick stay
The location was pretty sweet, right in the heart of the city. The staff were super friendly, and I loved the in-room breakfast. The only thing was the heating in my room didn't quite cut it in December. I ended up having to request a heater from reception. Still, it was an alright stay.

We like Dunkerque, the hotel was a bonus as it was in the centre. it was clean and the staff extremely friendly. We could not fault it at all.

Central location, secure parking and 24hr service. Friendly and courteous staff. Decent continental breakfast with no restrictions and an early start for business travellers 0640hrs and a late finish for lazy travellers 1000hrs. Rooms are clean and well serviced and above all quiet and dark. The beds are comfortable guaranteeing a good nights sleep. While not luxurious the hotel does the essentials well

A well-suited match for a speedy visit in Dunkirk with best value. The egg boiler at breakfast was an interesting surprise. Make sure to arrive before breakfast if you want a wider selection.

Good competent clean hotel for a reasonable price. Short distance to decent bar/brasserie.
Had chosen it for proximity to car ferry (dfds). Mistake - the ferry is a distance from Dunkerque centre. Would be fine if using the French line assuming they sail from town centre.Hotel is closer to town centre than to the town centre port..

We ate at a great restaurant for lunch or dinner. The service was really great as we had expected.

missingWrote a review on 13 Novcoffee makeregg boilerpayment confusion
The coffee maker in the room offered a nice touch for caffeine-fueled adventures. An egg boiler at breakfast adds a unique twist to the typical buffet experience.
Navigating to the hotel can be frustrating, as Google Maps took travelers to a square hundreds of meters away, likely due to outdated signage. Payment issues arose where an unexpected second full charge appeared on credit cards. The bar ran out of beer on a weekend, leaving guests without many drink options. The lack of air conditioning and paper-thin walls contributed to an uncomfortable stay, particularly with traffic noise seeping into the room. The awkward shower setup in the bathtub proved difficult for those with mobility issues.

Helpful staff, value for money, clean and functional. Did the job without frills.
The location is in the town centre, noisy all night and I had some concerns regarding security of vehicle parked on the street. I had wanted hotel parking and had pointed out that I had a cycle on the roof of the car, however when I arrived I was told the car with cycle couldn't go in the secure garage.

The breakfast was a highlight with a good range of cheese and meat options. The room was ok, though it had an unusual smell and the TV angle wasn't ideal. 👎

This is a good, functional hotel. There is not a lot of secure parking at the hotel, but what there is, is easily available. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy. We did not eat at the hotel so are unable to comment on the restaurant. The hotel is ideally located to visit the older part of Dunkerque and is very close to the ferry terminal.
The TV volume did not work and the receptionist could not correct the fault.

I was happy with everything about the Hotel Welcome. The rececptionist was pleasant at all times and very tolerant of my poor schoolboy French. I did not attempt to speak English at any time during my two night stay so non French speakers may find things a little moe difficult. The location can only be described as in one of the more 'concrete areas' of Dunkirk but this more to do with the events of May 1940 than anything to do with the hotel. The breakfast was the Continental type, which didn't worry me as when in France........... The bedroom and bathroom was clean and tidy with plenty of room I enjoyed my stay and should I be passing this way again would stay at this hotel
